Shiner

Shiner came to live with me at OshoZen at 11 weeks of age. She

is a beautiful mohagany girl with a face you will never forget and movement that will leave you breathless. The daughter of a Best in Specialty Show Winner (BISS) & consistently top 20 winning Akita dog - who finished 1999 #5 CH"Uno"; and the granddaughter of a National BISS winning dog CH"Darq Wolf" ... she is a powerhouse and her co-owners, Rick & Teresa Witte - Stardust Akitas, her breeders Donna Bennett , Keith Wright, and Sherry Bell and I are very proud of her.

****FLASH**** Shiner takes her first points with a 4pt. major and then Best Of Winners !!!! Heck of a way to get started but from her we would expect nothing less - she's soooo SMOOOOOOTH...... ;-)

Thanks to her friend and Co-Owner Rick Witte & Handler Clint Livingston, Shiner started 2001 at 17 mths. with 12 of her 15 championship points and 1 major - she hit the rings again with Clint looking for that last major.

****FLASH**** "Shiner" wins 4 pt major with Best of Winners over her brother "Hammer" Kudos Can't Touch This (new champion!), and Best of Opposite Sex to finish her championship* with 16 points!! Expertly handled by her friends Clint & Brian Livingston.

Ch Shiner has 2 International Champions to her credit with Int'l Ch Oshozen's Koutaishi Sakae "Halo" and OshoZen's Starsinger Taishou "Boss" (Int'l multi. Bred by Group Placer). Both from her litter sired by Ch Daiyu's Majestic Java OshoZen CGC "Bushido". Both boys are AKC championship pointed with Halo needing only his last 3 pt major to finish.

Shiner crossed the rainbow bridge Saturday the 9th of April 2011. She was the most wonderful house companion to me and the best Nanny dog to all the other dogs, puppies and even client dogs - one in a million she will NEVER be forgotten - rest well my doll until we see each other again.
